Design and display
The watch is 11 mm thick and weighs approximately 43 grams without the strap. It comes in Obsidian Black and Misty Titanium.
The AMOLED display is protected by sapphire glass, which helps reduce scratching. A peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits improves outdoor readability, although visibility also depends on lighting conditions.
Wear OS, performance and Google services
The European version of the OPPO Watch X3 runs Wear OS by Google. It uses a Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chipset alongside the BES2800BP.
Google Wallet support enables payments from the watch, Google Maps helps with navigation, and Google Play provides access to additional apps. The availability of individual services and features may depend on the region and their settings.
Connectivity and positioning
Bluetooth 5.2 connects the watch wirelessly to a phone or other devices. Dual-frequency GPS helps record location during exercise or walks and can also be used for navigation. Positioning accuracy may vary depending on the surroundings.
Health, sleep and safety
The watch offers ECG, blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) and sleep monitoring, as well as an overall wellness overview. Safety features include fall detection with SOS calling; its use depends on availability, settings and connectivity.
Health data is intended for general monitoring and does not replace medical diagnosis. If you have health concerns or receive worrying results, consult a healthcare professional.
Battery life and durability
Battery life is stated at approximately five days in full smart mode. In power-saving mode, it can reach up to 16 days, which may be useful when travelling with limited access to charging. Actual battery life depends on usage and enabled features, and power-saving mode also limits what the watch can do.
The OPPO Watch X3 has IP68, IP69 and 5 ATM durability ratings, as well as MIL-STD-810H certification. These relate to resistance to water and dust and to selected test conditions; they do not guarantee protection against every impact or form of damage.
