Huepar W03CG and W04CG are advanced 360° laser levels with Bluetooth, a motorized base and a touchscreen LCD
The Huepar W03CG and Huepar W04CG are among the brand’s more advanced green laser levels. Both models combine precise 360° lines with Bluetooth control, a remote control, a motorized rotating base, a touchscreen LCD, pulse mode and a rechargeable 2600 mAh battery.
Huepar W03CG and Huepar W04CG are among the brand’s more advanced green laser levels. Both models combine precise 360° lines with Bluetooth control, a remote control, a motorized rotating base, a touchscreen LCD, pulse mode and a rechargeable 2600 mAh battery.
The main difference is the number of laser planes. The W03CG is a 3×360° model, while the W04CG offers a 4×360° system.
The W03CG has three planes, the W04CG has four
The W03CG projects:
- one horizontal 360° plane,
- two vertical 360° planes.
The W04CG adds another horizontal plane, giving it four 360° planes. With its 4D configuration, users get a separate top and bottom horizontal plane, plus two vertical planes.
For ceiling, floor or tile installation, the bottom horizontal plane is a major advantage because it can reach closer to the floor than on a conventional 3D laser.
Accuracy of ±3 mm at 10 m
Both models have a stated accuracy of approximately ±3 mm at 10 meters.
The self-leveling range is ±3°.
According to the manufacturer, the W03CG levels itself in approximately four seconds and alerts the user if it exceeds its range.
Bluetooth control up to approximately 20 meters
A major advantage of the W series is its Bluetooth app.
The laser can be controlled from a phone at a distance of approximately 20 m. The included remote control offers similar functions.
Users can switch laser planes on or off, adjust brightness, select pulse mode and control the motorized base without physically going over to the device.
When installing something at the other end of a room, this can save a lot of time.
Motorized rotating base
Both the W03CG and W04CG use a 360° electric rotating base.
For the W03CG, the manufacturer lists three rotation speeds:
- approximately 9.1 mm/s,
- 48 mm/s,
- 240 mm/s.
The slow mode is for fine-tuning the line, while the high-speed mode is for quickly turning it in the desired direction.
This is one of the features that genuinely sets the W series apart from less expensive laser levels.
Touchscreen LCD
The device features a backlit LCD touchscreen.
It displays the active laser planes, battery status, leveling mode, pulse mode, tilt and rotating-base status.
The manufacturer states that the panel can also be operated while wearing work gloves.
Green laser diodes
The W03CG uses green laser diodes at approximately 510–530 nm, while the W04CG uses approximately 505–530 nm, according to regional specification sheets.
Both models are Class 2 lasers with an output below 1 mW.
The green beam is clearly visible indoors, but in bright daylight it is still advisable to use pulse mode and a receiver.
Range with a receiver
For the W03CG, the manufacturer lists a typical range of approximately 20 m, and up to around 60 m with a receiver, depending on the specific version.
The W04CG has a typical working range of approximately 20 m and a range of approximately 40 m with a compatible receiver.
Differences between regional figures are also due to measurement methods and lighting conditions.
2600 mAh battery
Both models use an 11.1 V / 2600 mAh Li-ion battery.
Runtime with all beams on is approximately 6.5 hours.
According to the manufacturer, the W04CG takes approximately 3.5 hours to charge. The device also supports operation while plugged in.
IP54 and standard threads
The housing has an IP54 rating.
Mounting threads 1/4"-20 and 5/8"-11 are available, making it easy to use with standard tripods and construction mounts.

When is the W04CG worth it?
The W04CG is most useful when working with floors and ceilings, where the second horizontal plane saves you from having to reposition the device.
If users mainly need to level walls, corners and vertical lines, the W03CG already offers a very wide range of options.
Is the Huepar W03CG/W04CG series worth it?
The biggest benefit is not just the number of lines, but the motorized base and remote control. These let you fine-tune the laser’s position without physically moving the device.
For a professional or anyone who uses a laser level often, this feature can be significantly more convenient than a less expensive model that must be adjusted manually. The W04CG makes sense mainly when you will actually use the second horizontal plane.
