Performance and memory
The eight-core MediaTek Dimensity 9500 runs at a maximum frequency of 4.21 GHz. An Arm Mali G720 MC12 GPU handles graphics. The hardware is geared towards demanding apps, games and multimedia, although actual performance depends on the app and usage conditions.
The phone can have up to 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and uses UFS 4.1 storage. Fast memory and storage help when working with apps and data, but the UFS standard alone does not indicate storage capacity.
144 Hz AMOLED display
The 6.32-inch AMOLED display has a resolution of 2,640 × 1,216 pixels and a density of 460 ppi. Its refresh rate reaches up to 144 Hz, which can make scrolling and animations smoother in supported apps and games. The touch sampling rate reaches 300 Hz.
The stated brightness is 800 nits typical and 1,800 nits maximum. Higher brightness can help when using the phone outdoors, although readability also depends on lighting conditions and the content on screen.
Battery and charging
The battery has a capacity of 7,025 mAh. That is a large capacity, but actual battery life depends on usage, display settings and mobile signal quality.
Wired charging reaches up to 80 W and wireless charging up to 50 W. Supported charging standards include UFCS, PPS and PD. The power achieved depends on the charger used and charging conditions.
Two 200 MP cameras and an ultrawide view
There are two 200 MP Samsung sensors on the back. The main camera has an f/1.6 aperture and optical image stabilisation (OIS), which helps reduce the effects of hand shake. It can be useful in low light, but it does not guarantee a sharp photo of a moving subject.
The second 200 MP camera is a telephoto with 2.8× optical zoom, an f/2.6 aperture and OIS. It brings distant subjects closer, while stabilisation helps when taking photos and recording video.
A 50 MP ultrawide camera with a 120-degree field of view completes the rear camera setup. It can fit more of a scene into the frame, such as a landscape or a group of people.
Connectivity and security
The smartphone supports Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.x and NFC, which can be used for contactless payments. Its USB-C port uses the USB 2.0 standard. Two nano-SIM cards allow two mobile numbers to be used in one phone.
For positioning, the phone supports GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou and NavIC. It can be unlocked using an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor or face recognition.
