BlitzWill BW-PLT2 is a smart projector designed to create ambient lighting in a bedroom, child’s room or living room. It combines green laser stars, an RGB nebula, six projection films, a Bluetooth speaker, more than 30 white-noise sounds, an alarm clock and Smart Life app control.
An independent test rated it very positively, especially for its wide range of settings and stable app control.
Stars and RGB nebula work independently
The projector combines several layers of light.
A green laser creates the stars, while RGB LEDs generate a coloured nebula. Users can adjust the brightness of each element to create soft night lighting or a more pronounced effect.
The image’s movement speed can also be adjusted in the app.
Six HD projection films
The BW-PLT2 includes 6 themed projection films.
Their themes focus on space and ocean motifs. A film is inserted into the projector to create a more detailed image than the RGB nebula alone.
The projector does not have a conventional optical zoom or manual focus like a video projector. It delivers the best results at a distance of approximately 2 to 3 metres from the projection surface.
Adjustable tilt: 30, 60 and 90°
The body can be tilted into several positions.
This is practical because the projector does not need to sit directly beneath the area it is meant to illuminate. It can be placed on a small table and project onto the ceiling or a wall.
Smart Life / Tuya
The BW-PLT2 connects via 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi and uses the Smart Life app.
The app lets you adjust:
- brightness,
- colours,
- rotation,
- timers,
- star intensity,
- nebula intensity,
- sound functions.
The independent tester rated the app as easy to navigate and the connection as stable.
Alexa and Google Assistant
The projector supports Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
Basic functions, such as turning the projection on or off, can be controlled by voice.
For users who already have a Tuya/Smart Life home, the BW-PLT2 acts as another smart device in the same ecosystem.
Bluetooth speaker
The body contains an approximately 3 W speaker with a 4 Ω impedance.
Music can be played via Bluetooth.
It is not a replacement for a high-quality standalone speaker, but its output is sufficient for quiet evening listening or sleep sounds.
More than 37 white-noise sounds
One of its most practical features is a library of more than 37 relaxing sounds.
These may include, for example:
- rain,
- nature sounds,
- birds,
- noise backgrounds.
The projector can therefore also work without playing music from a phone.
Alarm clock
The BW-PLT2 also includes an alarm clock function.
Instead of an ordinary beep, light can be combined with ambient sound, making it particularly suitable for use in a bedroom.
Music synchronisation
The lighting effect can respond to music.
This adds dynamism to a party or gaming room, while a static or slow mode is naturally more suitable for helping someone fall asleep.

How does it perform in practice?
An independent test gave the product a very good rating.
The tester praised the range of settings, stable connection and the fact that the projector is not just “one laser dot plus RGB LED”.
The tester also noted that the look of the projection is subjective. Another, simpler model appealed to them slightly more aesthetically, although the BW-PLT2 was considerably more advanced in terms of functionality.
Who is the BW-PLT2 suitable for?
It makes the most sense in:
- a bedroom,
- a child’s room,
- a gaming room,
- a relaxation nook,
- as a smart night light.
Is the BlitzWill BW-PLT2 worth it?
If users only want a simple coloured light, cheaper projectors are available.
The BW-PLT2 stands out because it combines projection films, an RGB nebula, laser stars, Smart Life, a speaker, white noise and an alarm clock.
Its main advantage is precisely the integration of several functions into a single device.
